Terms of Service
Last updated
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stoqlab website, the Stoqlab dashboard, the Stoqlab REST API and the Stoqlab MCP server (together, the "Service"), operated by Stoqlab ("Stoqlab", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and "you" refers to that organisation.
If you have signed an order form or a separate agreement with us, that document takes precedence over these Terms where they differ.
1. The Service
Stoqlab compiles facts from public sources (app store listings, app-ads.txt files and sellers.json files) and presents them as structured data: declared supply trees, verification statuses, store data and change history. Features available to you depend on your plan, as described on our pricing page or in your order form.
2. Accounts and API keys
- Accounts are created by us after a request for access. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for keeping passwords and API keys confidential and for all activity under your accounts and keys.
- The number of user accounts is limited by your plan. Accounts are personal and must not be shared.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. Revoke compromised API keys from the dashboard immediately.
3. Fees and invoicing
- Fees are those of your plan or order form. Annual plans are invoiced upfront for the year; monthly plans are invoiced each month.
- Invoices are payable within the term stated on the invoice. Fees exclude VAT and other taxes, which are added where required.
- We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next renewal.
- We may suspend access to paid features if an invoice remains unpaid after a reminder.
4. Your licence to the data
During your subscription we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the data in the Service and to use it, including exports, for your internal business purposes and in work you deliver to your own clients. You may not resell, sublicense or publish the data in bulk, or use it to build a competing dataset or service, unless a separate data licence (such as Enterprise Data or the Bulk API & data licence add-on) allows it.
Daily data quotas and bulk access. Each plan includes a number of data rows per day across the API, the MCP server, exports and dashboard lists, shown on the pricing page and on your Plan & usage page. Copying the dataset or a substantial part of it, for example by walking the full catalogue page by page or by combining accounts, keys or addresses, is bulk extraction and needs a Bulk API & data licence. Exported files carry an export identifier that lets us trace a file to the account that downloaded it; do not remove it to hide where data came from.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- circumvent rate limits, export quotas, daily data quotas or other technical limits (including by using several accounts, keys or network addresses), or access the Service through automated means other than the API and MCP server;
- share accounts or API keys beyond the user accounts of your plan;
- attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission;
- use the Service in breach of applicable law, including data protection law, or to harass any person;
- interfere with the operation of the Service or place an unreasonable load on it.
6. Your content
Lists, filters and other content you create in the Service remain yours. You grant us the rights needed to store and process that content to provide the Service to you.
7. Accuracy of the data
The data is derived from files and listings published by third parties. Those sources can be incomplete, inconsistent or wrong, and they change without notice. We process them carefully and document our method, but we do not warrant that any data point is accurate, complete or current. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on the Service.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but unless an order form says otherwise we do not commit to a specific service level. We may improve, change or retire features. If we retire a material feature of a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice.
9. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only to perform under these Terms. This does not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiving party.
10. Term, suspension and termination
Your subscription runs for the period of your plan and renews unless either party gives notice before the end of the period. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms and do not cure the breach after notice, or immediately where needed to protect the Service or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, and each party's total liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and, for material changes, notify account holders in advance. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Stoqlab is registered, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless an order form provides otherwise.
